Honda Talon Factory racing welcomes young driver Michael McFayden to their racing team. McFayden joins the team in a driver development role to develop the new Talon race chassis and as the driver of record for The Mint 400.
The 2023 edition of the SCORE Baja 1000 went down in history as the second longest race course with 1310.94-miles, and for the first time, running from La Paz to Ensenada, up the Baja California peninsula.
The 28th anniversary of the Best In The Desert “Casey Folks Vegas to Reno” race held on August 18, 2023, handed out more than the usual challenges for the Honda Factory Off-Road Racing Team.
The No. 1925 Talon, with driver of record Zach Sizelove, added another back-to-back win in the Pro UTV NA class, building on their back-to-back Mint 400 wins.
The Honda Off-Road Racing team earned two hard fought victories in the 4th longest point-to-point, Ensenada to La Paz, SCORE Baja 1000. The Baja-prepped No. 709 Honda Ridgeline crossed the finish line with a time of 27:10:00 and the No. 1920 Honda Talon finished with a time of 29:18:38 – both capturing class wins

Long touted, The Great American Off Road Race,The Mint 400, is also a notoriously rough course on equipment and drivers as hundreds of entries do their laps, making the race course ever-changing and unpredictable. The 2020 edition, held in the desert south of Las Vegas, NV, was the longest ever – 428 miles in four 107 mile long laps.
Coming off a two-year winning streak, the Honda Off-Road Racing Team and its Ridgeline Baja Race Truck opened the 2020 off-road racing season with a mountain of highs and one ultimate low of a DNF in the “7200” class for V6-powered race trucks in Friday’s Best In The Desert Parker 425.
